Four big crisps were created by the imperial kitchen of the Qing Dynasty, refers to the collective name for the four royal pastry:the sweet-scented osmanthus crisp, rose crisp, bergamot crisp, pumpkin crisp, are said to be critical Empress Dowager Cixi’s favorite.

These four kinds of snacks are small and exquisite, except sweet-scented osmanthus crisp being made glossy, the other three’s appearances are quite beautiful, for instance, rose crisp is dotted with rose sauce, pumpkin crisp is shape into pumpkin , bergamot crisp is very like bergamot.
